I'm Dipa Parbhoo. Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to learn more about me. When people first meet me, they often ask, "Where are you from?" My answer? I consider myself a citizen of the universe! Let me explain. I have Indian roots and was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I pursued my university studies in Belgium, earning a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels in 2011. My journey has taken me across the globe. From an Erasmus program in the UK, working in Spain, and spending 11 years in Belgium as a freelance interior architect and project manager. In 2016, I moved to Dubai, UAE, and from 2018 to 2022, I worked for Expo 2020 Dubai. I began as an interior architect, then shifted to creative direction, and eventually became the Public Relations and Media Manager for a design platform created for and by Expo 2020 Dubai. During my time at Expo 2020, I also worked as a meditation and mindfulness coach for the employees, particularly as we navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. After completing my mission at Expo 2020, I decided to sell my belongings and embark on a solo journey to challenge myself and explore beyond my comfort zone. For over two years, I traveled from Central America to the southern most point of South America, then onward to India (where I completed a Vipassana meditation retreat), across Africa (from DRC to Tanzania by car, bus, and train). My journey continued through Asia and Egypt before I finally returned to Belgium, with a deeper understanding of who I am and a clearer vision of the life I wanted to create. I decided to fully embrace the healer I am and focus only on my meditation and mindfulness coaching while blending the worlds I am passionate about—healing, art, and travel. I am a multicultural, multi-potential social butterfly who loves to connect with new people and experiences, always making use of all my skills and eager to learn more and grow!
